Edward Kilian III has been active in the Immaculate community for many years. An alumnus from the Class of 1999, Ed has fond memories of his days at IHS playing on the state championship boys soccer team and creating lasting friendships. Ed has played in Immaculate’s annual golf tournament for more than 10 years with a foursome of friends who all graduated together from IHS. After his graduation from Immaculate, Ed began his post secondary education at Western Connecticut State University, spent one year studying at Suffolk University in Boston and decided to return to Danbury to continue his studies at WCSU while working full time at Earthmovers, Inc., a family owned business established by his grandfather in 1945. Ed earned his bachelor of arts degree in small business entrepreneurship from WCSU in 2004 and continues to work for Earthmovers, Inc., a construction services company serving CT and NY for 77 years. Ed began at Earthmovers, Inc. as a laborer and machine operator, then held managerial roles before becoming Vice President of the company in 2010. In addition to participating in the golf outing, Ed has served on the facilities committee for the Immaculate High School Advisory Board and has been a part of the planning and construction of several projects throughout the years. A great supporter of the school, Ed has donated materials and labor to several projects including the turf field and walkway near the fitness center. This summer, Ed and Earthmovers, Inc. will be constructing Immaculate’s Legacy Walkway in the rear of the building at the student entrance. Ed is a firm believer in “giving back to the community that gave to you.” He supports many local charities including Ann’s Place, a community based cancer support program that his aunt co-founded. He also served on the Development Board at Danbury Hospital. Ed currently resides in Redding, CT with his wife, Dr. Krishanthi Satchi, a local pediatrician who rode a school bus with Ed in his childhood and with whom Ed was blessed to reconnect later in life. Immaculate High School is very grateful to Ed for his support of the annual golf outing and all of his generous contributions to the school over the years.
